"The Watchtowers" is a visual archive of surveillance, security, detention, within the context of migrant mortality on the United States border. Guided by the Electronic Frontier Foundation's (EFF) map of border surveillance towers, Humane Borders' map of migrant mortality, and No Más Muertes' map of migrant mortality, these photographs were made during research trips conducted along the length of the U.S.- Mexico border between 2023-2024.
